This event began in 2014 as a small workshop held at the University of Rome Niccolò Cusano, in Rome, Italy, with the aim of spreading the breakthroughs in the topic of sustainable mobility. Since then it has grown steady and now we can proudly announce that the third edition of the SAE International Conference of Sustainable Mobility, will be held in the charming setting of the city of Catania, on the eastern coast of Sicily, Italy. Unfortunately, due to the COVID pandemic the last edition was held in a virtual format, but the event was still really rewarding, thanks to the high-quality contributions, from all the participants, on topics of global relevance. The audience was extremely engaging, fostering a very good dialogue during the conference. We received very good feedback in terms of attendance and we would like to thank all the authors, keynote speakers and attendees for their invaluable contribution.
As of now, we really hope to grow in this upcoming event and see you in person in Catania, but since Covid-19 has still a huge impact on international mobility, we are ready to turn the 3rd Conference on Sustainable Mobility (CSM2022) into a virtual event if needed. In that case, Invited Speeches and Presentations will be organized according to the same agenda (from September 26 to 28, 2022) and submitted papers will be still published SAE technical papers with the opportunity to be selected for SAE Journals.
